It was a rather quick winter break at home with our families, and then off to the beautiful Vero Beach, FL to kick off the New Year with a bang on our 2013 Winter Training trip.
10 days filled with two-a-day practices along the Intercoastal Waterway.
We're on day 4 here at Vero Beach, and with the exception of a few windy spurts- the weather has been beautiful!
We are fortunate enough to stay at the luxurious Vero Beach Hotel and Spa, so when practices are through for the day we can truly relax- and even take advantage of the gorgeous weather by the pool mid-day in between practice for a little R and R.
My team has been working so hard this week, and can't wait to take the training and improvements we've been making here in Florida, to the upcoming spring season of competition for our fastest year ever.

We will be back home to the heights on the 13th, and my second semester of senior year kicks off the very next day!
